BUYING A USED CAR?
It might me be "encumbered" i.e. the seller still owes money on it. If so it could be re-possessed by the bank or institution - and you won't get your money back!
Find out if there is money owing on it by visiting REVS (Register of Encumbered Vehicles) NSW site, or phoning 13 32 32.
REVS is a service provided by the NSW Office Of Fair Trading.
